  • Red beetrootq.b.

  • Onionq.b.

  • Carrotsq.b.

  • White cabbageq.b.

  • Chicken legsq.b.

  • Tomato pasteq.b.

  • Saltq.b.

Procedimento

STEP 1

Preparation phase:For the better taste grate carrots, beetroot.

STEP 2

Cut the onion into thin slices.

STEP 3

Heat the pan well, decrease the temperature and add some oil.

STEP 4

Add the onion slices into the pan and let it simmer until golden colour.

STEP 5

Add the grated carrots to the onion and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.

STEP 6

Add the grated beetroot to the carrots and onion and let it simmer for another 4 minutes.

STEP 7

Add tomato paste, salt to the vegetable mix and let it simmer on a low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

STEP 8

Actual cooking phase:Cut the potatoes and put it into the already made chicken broth.

STEP 9

Let the potato be well cooked (usually takes 20 minutes).

STEP 10

Then add the thin slices of white cabbage to the potatoes and let it be cooked for another 10 minutes.

STEP 11

The final step is adding the simmered vegetable mix to the cooked potatoes and white cabbage and let all those ingredients get to know each other for another 10 minutes.

STEP 12

Turn off the heat, cover the borsch and let it bath for another 10-20 minutes. It would taste better.
